The brand-new 2024 Ram 1500 Revolution is on the way. As we expected, Ram released the first teaser in early 2022. This also means the sales of this electric truck will begin in the second half of the year. It will be a modern and fully electric pickup truck and it will rival Ford F-150 Lightning. Of course, Chevy Silverado 1500 EV will also join the race in the near future.
The Ram 1500 Revolution offers a couple of new technologies, including AI features. Besides that, this model will look sleek and versatile, while offering an impressive interior. Naturally, the biggest focus is on performance, and this truck will not disappoint.
Futuristic Design
Shortly after the teaser image, many renderings appeared online. However, no one knows what the new 2024 Ram 1500 Revolution will exactly look like, yet. In any case, Stellantis opted for the STLA platform, which means Revolution will be a body-on-frame EV. Unlike the regular Ram 1500, the electric one will have more cabin space. The front fascia sports animated LED headlights, illuminated Ram badge, and LED lights in the front bumper.
The one-touch frunk is a new system, but it is not the only novelty. The idea is to offer a more futuristic truck with unique exterior elements and features. The electro-chromatic glass roof is another cool innovation, so the passengers can adjust the roof’s opacity. We are waiting to hear more official info regarding the truck’s colors, wheel options, and more.
Unique Interior
Thanks to the new platform, the cabin of the 2024 Ram 1500 Revolution will be very spacious. According to Ram, the Revolution model will have significantly more room than the gas-powered Ram 1500. Again, lots of new features will be on offer, including a new Ram Track floor system. This system allows numerous configurations in terms of seating layout, which sounds very versatile. You can remove the third-row seats and place them on the bed.
Ram says you’ll be able to accommodate 18 feet long items when the tailgate is closed. The seats are available with integrated seatbelts and speakers. Ram will offer sustainable materials, including vegan apple leather upholstery. The steering wheel also has a couple of different configurations and the Ram 1500 Revolution will have a Level 3 autonomous driving system.
Ram 1500 Revolution Driving Range and Charging
Right now, we don’t have official engine specs. However, the upcoming 2024 Ram 1500 Revolution will surely deliver impressive performances. The truck will offer AWD and 4WD steering systems, which is official. Furthermore, Ram will provide an adjustable suspension and three driving modes: Aero, Ingress/Egress, and Off-Road.
Fast charging capability is available, but there will be level 1, level 2, and DC fast charging options. With DC fast charger, you can charge this model in ten minutes and give it 100 miles of driving range. Ram said the goal is to provide between 300 and 500 miles of driving range, but official details are not available yet. Moreover, we don’t know how much power this truck is going to generate.
2024 Ram 1500 Revolution Release Date, Price
The 2024 Ram 1500 Revolution will compete with Ford F-150 Lightning, GMC Hummer EV, and Rivian R1T trucks. Moreover, Chevy Silverado EV is also on the way. The price of the Ram 1500 Revolution will probably start at around $50,000 and the sales will begin later in 2023, or in early 2024. More details are on the way, so stay tuned.
