Jeep has postponed their much-anticipated 2024 Jeep Gladiator 4xe model yet again. For quite some time, this pickup truck has been a subject of rumors. We’ve seen it happen far too many times. The next model will introduce only minor upgrades.
Nothing too drastic or out of the ordinary. Hopefully, certain stylistic and technological enhancements will increase the pickup’s performance. The Jeep Gladiator 4xe Hybrid will use the same system as the Wrangler 4xe SUV, which is exciting news. This translates to improved fuel efficiency and more. Anyway, hybrids are taking over the truck segment, before the all-electric variant kicks in.
Jeep Gladiator 4xe Exterior Facelift
The upcoming 2024 Jeep Gladiator 4xe gives will not largely depart from the base version. The truck has a large tail and resembles a Jeep Wrangler SUV. That, we believe, is a positive thing. Off-roading experiences are popular, and the Wrangler is capable in the wild. It can withstand almost anything, including sand and snow.
Having part of that pedigree is therefore a fantastic idea. We have a large wide grille on the front. It’s also quite tall, covering the entire front face. There are various causes for this. First and foremost, it is in the Jeep style, and it also boosts air intake. However, the 4xe version can be recognized by blue accents, especially upfront.
Interior Upgrades
To begin with, the 2024 Jeep Gladiator 4xe has improved materials inside the cabin. Still, cloth upholstery remains standard, while leather seats will be optional. This will contribute to Jeep’s luxury appearance. Heated and vented seats would boost the comfort even further, which is crucial in a truck that would be driven for lengthy periods of time.
Everything in this model will be controlled by a central infotainment system. The size is unknown, but it should not be less than 10 inches so that everyone can participate. The dashboard will be entirely digitalized. This is a huge step forward in terms of Gladiator’s futuristic design. There will be more than enough room for five passengers, like in the outgoing model.
Gladiator 4xe Specs
The 2024 Jeep Gladiator 4xe will be produced next year, as promised by Jeep. Electrification is barely getting started, and this is one of the earliest electric or hybrid models. Stellantis is assisting them in their quest, which is fantastic given their track record. A 17-kWh battery will come as standard, which could provide 25 miles of driving on a single charge. For a little battery, this is quite impressive. To preserve space, it will be hidden beneath the back seat. This output will develop up to 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. More importantly, we expect significantly better fuel efficiency. On the other hand, Jeep will continue to offer either a 6-speed automatic or 8-speed automatic transmission.
2024 Jeep Gladiator 4xe Price, Release Date
Again, we expected this hybrid truck later this year. However, that won’t happen. Instead, we are waiting for the 2024 Jeep Gladiator 4xe, which should go on sale next year. The price is not available yet, but we expect a price of around $35,000.
