Naturally, the truck will come with a pair of electric motors, creating a standard AWD system. The goal is to provide more power, while it will be hard to deliver the hatchback’s driving range.
In any case, Ioniq 5 offers 220 miles of driving range on a single charge, using a 58-kWh battery. A larger 77.4-kWh battery will provide over 250 miles of range. The truck will have an even bigger battery pack, but the driving range will remain a mystery for another couple of weeks. Hyundai will reveal more details next month, including the truck’s power and charging time.

The price of the all-new 2024 Hyundai Palisade Electric Truck will start at around $45,000, per source. That is more about $10k above the price of the Palisade SUV. The sales will begin next year, probably later in summer 2023. Before that, Hyundai will launch new version of the Santa Cruz pickup.
