The upcoming 2024 Honda Ridgeline will introduce a couple of important upgrades in the coming months. From what we know, this popular truck should gain a new design, followed by various interior updates. Therefore, the new Ridgeline will look more modern, while providing a higher level of comfort and more high-tech features.
In terms of performance, Honda Ridgeline will keep its current engine. However, every established carmaker works towards electrification. Thanks to that, it won’t be a surprise if Ridgeline gains a hybrid powertrain option. On the other hand, the all-electric version won’t happen anytime soon.
Honda Ridgeline Exterior Redesign
For a start, the new 2024 Honda Ridgeline will gain a nice facelift. Honda clearly prepares its truck for a redesign, which should happen in the next two or three years. Until that happens, Ridgeline will continue to provide mild visual upgrades. The front fascia already looks attractive, but we expect to see a couple of upgrades. The headlights will reportedly be thinner than before, while the grille will sport larger openings for better engine cooling.
19-inch aluminum wheels will be available, while the 5.5-foot cargo bed will remain intact. The platform won’t change, so the vehicle’s dimensions are unchanged. The rear section will gain new taillights graphics and possibly a new rear bumper. Lastly, new exterior colors are on the way and Honda will also introduce a new appearance package, per source.
Interior Changes
The interior of the next 2024 Honda Ridgeline will be very modern and upscale. New model will gain a couple of nice updates. For a start, Honda will deliver new version of the infotainment system. Furthermore, the manufacturer will introduce new driver-assistance aids, but all of them will be available as an option.
Reportedly, new and larger touchscreen will be on offer. However, we don’t have official confirmation at the moment. Upholstery will remain, along with the truck’s upholstery and trim levels. New technology package will be added, which is great to hear.
Engine Specs
As we said, nothing will change under the hood. Therefore, the 2024 Honda Ridgeline will continue to offer the same 3.5-liter V6 gas engine. It is a potent unit with 280 horsepower. Moreover, it provides 260 lb-ft of torque. Both the engine and the 10-speed automatic transmission are very reliable and proven. We don’t know if Honda plans to offer a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine. It isn’t a very powerful output, but it does provide good fuel economy.
Speaking of which, Honda will focus on electrification, like any other established manufacturer. Because of that, Ridgeline Hybrid could happen in the coming months. Reportedly, this version will produce over 300 horsepower and up to 300 lb-ft of torque. Of course, fuel efficiency will be significantly improved. We are waiting to hear official words from Honda.
2024 Honda Ridgeline Release Date and Price
The 2024 Honda Ridgeline will hit dealerships next summer. The price will most likely remain intact, although Honda could slightly raise the price. In any case, the price will start at $40,000, or slightly below that. If the hybrid version truly arrives, it won’t cost below $45,000.
