The next 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X will soon be available. From what we know, this sporty pickup will receive several modifications. It’s wonderful to hear that some of the improvements will be significant. Similar upgrades will be made to the Canyon basic model and Canyon AT4X. An off-road variant, the AT4X, has a more aggressive look and more functions.
Additionally, the Canyon AT4X has upgraded suspension for better off-road performance. A 2.7-liter engine will probably remain. However, the performance is still strong, and the AT4X will undoubtedly continue to be a highly capable vehicle.
GMC Canyon AT4X Engine Specs
The most trustworthy reports indicate that performance will stay at the current level. This indicates that the 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine will continue to power the 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X. Thankfully, there are three separate outputs for this engine. Depending on the trim level you choose, the power level changes. The Canyon AT4X truck’s exact specifications are yet unknown.
According to several analysts, the AT4X trim level will produce up to 430 lb-ft of torque and about 310 horsepower. As a result, this model will be able to haul about 7,720 pounds. We are waiting to hear more details regarding the power levels, so the new Canyon AT4X could offer even better performance.
Exterior Upgrades
The manufacturer has only revealed a teaser image of the 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X’s front fascia thus far, and since it is Edition 1, we can expect to see additional editions in the future. A more aggressive bumper and a larger bull bar give the front end a more aggressive appearance. GMC will update both the headlights and the daytime running lights (DRLs).
The components of the front grille that are blacked out look fantastic. Under the skin, the truck will also see upgrades. That also covers an updated suspension. The AT4X should be an even more capable off-roader with a prettier look after all of that and new all-terrain tires.
GMC Canyon AT4X Interior
The cabin of the upcoming 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X will appear quite stylish and up to date. We don’t yet know how GMC intends to modernize the cabin layout, though. The arrangement of seats won’t change. However, new interior components and more high-tech innovations are on the way. Five people may fit comfortably, and there will be plenty of room for everyone.
A crew cab is standard. The Denali is the most expensive trim level, but the AT4X is just behind it. The emphasis is still on performance rather than a luxury. In any event, the cabin is quite upright, offering great comfort, high safety ratings, and lots of tech goodies.
2024 GMC Canyon AT4X Launch Date and Price
The all-new 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X will surely cost above $60,000. Many reliable reports are predicting a price of around $65,000. The teaser of Edition 1 is here, so we are waiting to hear more details before the sales begin at some point next year. Most likely, this mid-size off-road model will hit the dealerships in the second half of 2023.
