The upcoming 2024 Ford Ranger is about to receive a complete redesign. According to reliable reports, the next-generation Ranger will feature a bolder front-end appearance, similar to the F-150 that was recently unveiled. The customers can choose between a crew cab and an extended cab body setup, which comes as no surprise.
We expect the interior to be updated as well, with a larger, vertical infotainment touchscreen akin to what we saw in the present Edge crossover SUV. The all-new Ranger could gain a couple of upgrades under the hood as well. Without further ado, here’s everything we know about this model.

The super cab model will include a slightly larger bed, but both models are dimensionally the same.
Moreover, all trim levels will include a couple of new exterior elements. The base XL trim level will now wear slightly more black accents, while the Tremor package should introduce more geat than before. However, we believe they will keep offering the current 2.3-liter turbo-four engine. This engine has a power output of 270 horsepower and torque of 310 lb-ft. The mid-size pickup comes standard with a ten-speed automatic transmission that comes with a standard rear-wheel-drive system.
Nevertheless, there is always a four-wheel-drive setup available as an option. There are also speculations about hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions, but we don’t have any specific figures at this time. The current model can pull around 7600 pounds, which puts it towards the top of the mid-size pickup class.
2024 Ford Ranger Price, Release Date
In terms of price, the forthcoming 2024 Ford Ranger will now cost around $25,500. Ford will offer lots of trim levels, and optional packages and even the high-performance Raptor variant will arrive. The sales will begin next summer.
