The prototype of the 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500 Dually was recently sighted testing on public roads, giving us a sneak peek at what’s coming. To begin with, this new model is a crew cab with dual rear wheels. Unfortunately, it is well hidden, making all of the visual upgrades difficult to see.
However, we did notice certain changes, such as a more attractive front and back. The big horizontal stripes on the front grille and changes to the forward-facing illumination are two characteristics that we detect with our eyes.
Chevy Silverado 3500 Dually Engine Specs
The next 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500 Dually should be more powerful than the previous model. We expect the Silverado 3500HD to have the same engine as the Sierra HD range, which was recently revamped. This particular model will be available with a diesel engine that produces over 1,000 lb-ft of torque and roughly 500 horsepower as an option. This is a big upgrade over the current model, which has 910 lb-ft of torque and 445 horsepower.
A present model has a towing capacity of 36,000 pounds, and a future model will have even more. With a diesel engine, a 10-speed automatic transmission is available as standard. A gasoline engine comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission at the moment. This engine delivers around 400 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque, offering towing capability of 17,000 pounds.\
Cabin Upgrades
The cabin of the next 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500 Dually will be comfier like the other Silverado HD variants. This heavy-duty workhorse offers a lot of legroom because it’s a crew cab version. A seven-inch infotainment display, upgraded infotainment, many USB connections, Bluetooth, and the newest phone connectivity are all standard on the Silverado 3500HD.
Furthermore, because it will include more driver-assistance technologies, this model will be substantially safer than previous models. Although the highest trim levels are more expensive, the interior is contemporary and pleasant enough.

Spy Shots
New spy photographs of the 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500 Dually have surfaced. The truck looks to be getting a lot of modifications. This version looks to be proportionally similar to the original at first glance. Although the observed vehicle is carefully hidden, new features can be seen on both ends. Furthermore, the front grille’s large horizontal slats give this truck a more intimidating aspect.
Forward-facing lighting is also new, and it looks like it belongs on the Sierra HD truck. The back end is similarly covered, albeit we can notice some alterations in the back style. It sports redesigned taillights, fenders, and a tailgate. We’re waiting for the camo to come off, and we’re hoping for even more upgrades on the new model.
