The all-new Tacoma will get a significant makeover. This means the 2023 Toyota Tacoma Trail Edition will sport the same cosmetic upgrades. We expect to see a completely new front fascia, along with new taillights, new wheels, and new exterior colors. As for the Trail Edition, this model will surely gain more gear. This model already utilizes a lifted suspension, which results in higher ground clearance.
In front, this edition gets additional 1.1 inches of ground clearance, and the rear section is lifted by 5 inches. Toyota will provide 9.4 inches of ground clearance in total. Thanks to that, Tacoma Trail Edition is a very capable off-roader with impressive 16-inch wheels and Goodyear tires. Unlike the TRD Pro trim level, Trail Edition sports a bronze exterior theme.
Interior Changes

We could say the Trail Edition is the TRD Pro Lite, which means it lacks a couple of features but it is a more affordable model for a reason. The Trail Edition will offer a lock rear differential, but it doesn’t offer Crawl Control and multi-terrain select functions.
2023 Toyota Tacoma Trail Edition Release Date, Price
The next 2023 Toyota Tacoma Trail Edition will arrive in mid-2022, although we don’t know the exact launch date. The TRD Pro variant is available for almost $50,000, while the Trail Edition will cost around $40,000. Basically, this edition costs about $3,800 over the price of the SR5 trim level.
