When the 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave comes out, it will be one of the most exciting new pickup trucks. It is a mid-size pickup truck that can go through the desert with ease. Gladiator is a new model, so there won’t be a lot of big changes. Everything else is just an update, but the hybrid model is being called something new. As a result, we’re eagerly anticipating the Mojave model.
Mojave is a truck that can go through deserts because it’s a different kind of truck. This one has a special chassis that lets it go very fast, especially when it’s going off the road. Thanks to the unique mechanical setup and couple of distinctive features, Mojave is a true off-road pickup truck.
Changes In and Out
The changes for the next model are very small. We think there will be a little more standard kit and a new safety system, but that’s about all we expect to see. In the 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave, there are a lot of things that come with the truck already. The exterior design doesn’t look very different from the rest of the models in the line. However, Mojave has more ride height and bigger tires.
Overall, Jeep gave this model a more aggressive look by changing a few things on the outside. There are 17-inch wheels with 33-inch all-terrain tires that are offered as standard. This model has a lot of orange accents, orange tow hooks, and a Desert-Rated badge that makes it stand out. As a bonus, the interior has unique upholstery that makes it easier for you to stay in the place even when you’re going off-road a lot.
Jeep Gladiator Mojave Offers Unique Suspension
You can find a lot of Gladiators out there, but there are is only one Mojave. The upcoming 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave is a serious off-roader because it provides a unique setup under the skin. Jeep did a fantastic job and the result is a true desert-rated mid-size pickup truck.
Aside from that, Mojave has a fantastic crawl ratio, improved departure angles, and a two-speed transfer case. A rear locking differential is also available. You’ll enjoy the ride more because Mojave provides a higher level of comfort, more supportive seats, and upholstery with an impressive grip.
Like the outgoing model, the new 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave will offer the same two engines. We are talking about a standard 3.6-liter V6 gasoline and optional 3.0-liter diesel engines. The standard drivetrain option generates 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. The same engine also powers numerous Jeep models, including the Wrangler SUV. The EcoDiesel engine is optional and it develops 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque.
Logically, diesel provides higher towing capacity and it is also a better option when it comes to serious off-roading. A hybrid powertrain is still just a rumor. The Wrangler SUV is getting the 4xe variant, and the Gladiator will do exactly the same. However, we don’t think the Mojave trim level will be available with an electrified powertrain option.
2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave Launch Date and Cost
The upcoming 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave will reportedly arrive later this summer. The price is not available yet, but the Mojave trim level will surely cost below $50,000 once again. As we said, the hybrid powertrain will not happen, but it could become a reality for the Mojave model in two or three years.
