In the back, there is ample legroom, so Gladiator provides more room than most of its rivals. The base trim level provides regular features such as Bluetooth, a smaller infotainment display, USB ports, and cloth seats.
Compared to other trim levels, Overland has power windows and locks, and tinted glass. It also comes with heated side mirrors, keyless entry, and a leather steering wheel. The two-zone automatic climate control and a 7-inch touchscreen as standard. It also has three additional USB ports and a satellite radio.
Engine Specs
The upcoming 2023 Jeep Gladiator Diesel is a very popular choice in the mid-size pickup truck segment. When Gladiator firstly arrived, it came with a 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine. This unit is still available, providing 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. However, in the second year of the production, Jeep introduced a diesel powertrain option.
It is a proven 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine. This unit is capable of producing 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to that, Gladiator Diesel has a maximum towing capacity of 6,500 pounds. Thanks to a higher level of torque, the diesel engine is a much better choice when it comes to serious off-roading. Lastly, a gasoline engine offers a standard six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic transmission as an option. As for the diesel, it comes exclusively with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
2023 Jeep Gladiator Diesel Release Date, Price
The price of the new 2023 Jeep Gladiator diesel will remain, as the changes are truly minor. The base Gladiator model starts at $35,000, so the diesel will cost slightly above $40,000. The sales will begin later in 2022, probably in the fall this year.
