According to reports, the upcoming 2023 Ford Maverick order window will open this August. The production already started, and demands for Maverick pickup are high. As previously stated, the new Ford Maverick will be available with a choice of two engines.
The current base model is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain that produces up to 191 hp and 155 lb-ft of torque. In addition, the manufacturer provides a more potent 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine with 250 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque. We also anticipate the release of an electric model in the following years.
Ford Maverick Looks Very Modern
The upcoming 2023 Ford Maverick will be a compact pickup with an appealing exterior design. The first designs have surfaced, and it appears that the next Maverick will wear the same front section as the electric Ford F-150 Lightning. It has a black mesh grille and distinctive LED headlamps. The boxy shape, though, remains, and it appears that the new pickup will continue to ride on the same unibody architecture.
Aside from that, the Maverick has a lower ride height than some body-on-frame trucks. The styling looks great, especially with the FX4 optional package that offers 17-inch aluminum wheels. The rear fascia comes with improved LED taillights and bumpers. Generally, Maverick is a very appealing pickup truck with compact dimensions.

Interior Features
The cabin of the 2023 Ford Maverick is both utilitarian and appealing. The entry-level trim has cloth seats and two-tone tough material with orange accents and stitching. There are also appealing hues that coordinate with the details on the doors and air vents. As previously stated, the Maverick has lots of interior space and can seat five passengers.
The 8-inch touchscreen will also be updated in 2023 with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto phone integrations. Ford will update the SYNC4 infotainment system and it will also offer FordPass Connect with Wi-Fi.

Towing Capacity, Transmission
The forthcoming 2023 Ford Maverick comes with a choice of two engines under the hood. The base version comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine capable of producing up to 191 hp and 155 lb-ft of torque. This engine is coupled to a CVT automatic transmission.
Ford also offers a more powerful 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine with 250 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque with 8-speed automatic transmission. The Maverick’s 2.0-liter engine can tow up to 4000 pounds thanks to its turbo system. However, if you choose the hybrid model, you will only be able to get 2000 pounds. Aside from the listed engines, there are reports that the company may launch an electric edition at some time.

2023 Ford Maverick Launch Date and Cost
The 2023 Ford Maverick pickup will be available for purchase this August. The upcoming model, like the Escape crossover, will be manufactured at Ford Hermosillo Assembly Plant. The base model costs $21,500, while the XLT trim level costs nearly $24,000. Demands for the Maverick pickup are surprisingly high, and this is the first pickup ever where a hybrid powertrain is available as standard. The Maverick model will compete with compact Hyundai Santa Cruz and rumored Chevrolet Montana.
