It is the only flaw the High Country trim level has. Despite that, everything else is impressive. Body-colored bumpers, recovery hook, and unique exterior paints are all available. However, this model comes without a power tailgate and rear wheelhouse liners, which could change for 2023MY.

The cabin design of the 2023 Chevy Silverado High Country is also impressive. This version comes with leather seats, larger displays, and more. There will be room for five passengers and the level of comfort is more than satisfying. The base version is a 2.7-liter gasoline engine with 310 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, there is a larger 5.3-liter V8 gasoline engine as an option. This engine delivers 355 hp and a torque of 383 lb-ft of torque.
The most potent engine is a 6.2-liter V8 gasoline unit. It generates up to 420 horsepower. Lastly, the diesel engine is also available. It is a 3.0-liter turbo-six variant with 277 horses and 460 lb-ft of twisting power. A 10-speed automatic transmission comes as standard.

The new 2023 Chevy Silverado High Country will start at almost $60,000. It is the range-topping trim level, but we think the price is fair. On the other hand, the base Silverado model will cost $32,000, and the RST model around $47,000. As we said, Ford and Ram are also providing a great level of luxury inside their top-of-the-range variants. However, we think the High Country is above them. On the other hand, Sierra’s Denali trim level is more competitive and in some categories, better than the High Country version. The sales will begin this summer.
