The upcoming 2023 Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss will be available next year, with a considerably improved off-road kit. The Trail Boss variant, according to Chevrolet, will be available on LT and Z71 trucks, and it will include additional ground clearance, skid plates, red tow hooks, and beautiful 17-inch wheels. Aside from visual upgrades, we anticipate interior changes that will result in a sportier cabin.
The Trail Boos package will use the same three engine options as normal Colorado. This includes a standard 2.5-liter engine and optional V6 and inline-four units. If you are looking for a capable off-road pickup truck, Trail Boss is perhaps the way to go.
Powertrain Specs
The future 2023 Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss will retain three engine options. The base model is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 200 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. The next engine is a 3.6-liter V6 with 308 horsepower and a torque of 275 lb-ft. The final engine is a turbodiesel 2.8-liter with 186 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque. This engine is also the most efficient, with highway fuel economy of up to 30 miles per gallon.
The maximum towing capacity of the future truck is determined by the engine. Colorado can pull up to 3,500 pounds. with the base model and 4-cylinder engine, while the V6 doubles the maximum tow capacity to 7,000 pounds. The Duramax diesel, on the other hand, has a capacity of 7,700 pounds.

Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss Interior Upgrades
According to reports, the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado will be upgraded with a new cabin. It will have a more modern appearance, with a 13.4-inch diagonal touch-screen and optional Super Cruise driver aid technology. The identical redesign was seen on the previously released Silverado truck. However, given that the Trail Boss option is designed to assist off-roading, we don’t expect any interior improvements from the standard variant.

More Aggressive Design
The 2023 Chevrolet Colorado truck, like the Silverado model, will be available with the off-road package Trail Boss beginning with the 2023 model year. Of course, this package is optional and it will cost you an additional $3,000. The manufacturer will make some cosmetic changes for 2023, and the Trail Boss package will have a suspension increase, new skid plates, and new wheels.
This package is similar to the AT4 trim level that is already available with the GMC Canyon. However, we anticipate that the ZR2 will be more comfortable on and off the road than the Trail Boss. Both models have skid plates, but the ZR2 model has 33-inch tires, and the Trail Boss variant will offer 32-inch units.

2023 Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss Release Date, Price
