The upcoming 2022 Ram 1500 G/T Package is an exciting version that brings a sporty appearance and further interior upgrades. Pickup trucks are no longer only practical workhorses in the automobile industry. In today’s market, trucks are competing with luxury vehicles in terms of equipment and technology. Moreover, trucks are getting off-road capabilities as well. In some cases, even having the horsepower to compete with powerful muscle cars.

Ram 1500 G/T Package Looks Hot
The 2022 Ram 1500 G/T Package can be had with the Sport, Rebel, and Laramie trim levels. This amazing package provides a wonderful combination of stuff that attempts to boost the truck’s sporty appearance. Unlike some of the other cosmetic packages we’ve seen in the past, the Ram 1500 G/T will contain some good performance improvements.
Thanks to that, G/T Package perfectly connects the entry-level versions to the brutal TRX variant. The exterior will gain the Sport Performance Hood as well as some G/T package graphics. In terms of performance, the package will feature the Mopar Cold Air Intake, a 3.92 rear axle, and a new passive cold-end exhaust system. However, significant improvements to the Ram 1500 G/T are found inside the cabin.
Interior Includes TRX Features
The forthcoming 2022 Ram 1500 G/T Package comes with the G/T Interior Theme, which adds a lot of new hardware to the vehicle. Optional features include an 8-way adjustable leather bucket seat with a 4-way adjustable lumbar upfront, as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Behind the wheel, there are two paddle shifters that function in combination with the TRX-style console shifter. Other interior modifications are also available. That includes new under-seat lighting, all-weather floor mats, and the front ventilated seats.
Nothing Will Change Under the Hood
This package provides a lot of performance improvements, but engines won’t change. Thanks to that, the 2022 Ram 1500 G/T Package is powered by a familiar 3.6-liter V6 engine. It is a gasoline unit that cranks out 305 horsepower and up to 270 lb-ft of torque.
Optionally, you can get a famous EcoDiesel variant with 260 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque. As we already said, G/T Package is available in Sport, Rebel, and Laramie trim levels. We don’t know if the mild-hybrid powertrain option will be available in this G/T variant.

We don’t have any pricing information for the 2022 Ram 1500 G/T Package as of yet. Of course, Ram is yet to reveal all of the details regarding the 2022MY. Anyway, the G/T Package is official and its price will largely depend on the chosen trim level.
