Premium audio system and similar amenities make the cabin feels SUV-like. The infotainment system is up to date while the seating layout won’t change. However, the new Tundra will be longer so expect even more generous room on the inside. Toyota’s latest Safety Sense suite will be offered as standard and expect the highest safety ratings once again.
2021 Tundra TRD Pro 5.7-liter V8 Specs
Under the hood, 2021 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro will offer a powerful 5.7-liter V8 gasoline powertrain. This engine is capable of producing 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, it comes with a six-speed automatic transmission. Its fuel economy has been rated at 15 mpg combined which isn’t that great, even for the full-size segment.
The latest information is strongly suggesting a hybrid powertrain. Whatsoever, a new platform is proving that. However, we don’t know if the hybrid system will become available in the TRD Pro version. Reliable sources are saying the hybrid variant will deliver 400 horsepower and up to 500 lb-ft of torque.
2021 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Release Date and Price
The forthcoming 2021 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro will cost around $50,000. The range-topping trim level will become available later this year. On top of that, a hybrid powertrain is a likely possibility and it will cost an additional $6,000.
