The forthcoming 2021 Nissan Titan Nismo is happening. The Nismo package is a trendy option on Nissan’s smaller vehicles. However, Nissan will change that and offer its Nismo package on the full-size pickup truck. According to numerous reports, Titan Nismo will debut at some point next year. The same reports are saying that the Warrior model will be replaced. The performance-oriented Nismo variant will surely represent a true refreshment in the pickup truck segment.
Interestingly, Titan is struggling at the moment, and it manages low sales in the last couple of years. The XD version is not available with a diesel engine anymore, so Titan will introduce the Nismo model for the first time. This is just a rumor, and it will remain as such until Nissan officially confirms these stories.
2021 Titan Nismo – Styling Based on the Warrior Concept?
The all-new 2021 Nissan Titan Nismo will deliver something unique and sporty. Take a look at other Nismo models, and you will spot a recognizable design that is very attractive. The red badges and accents are looking impressive, and generally, Titan Nismo should arrive with an athletic stance and more aggressive bodywork.
The front fascia will look bolder, and we should expect changes such as refined headlights and new bumpers. Nissan will provide new skid plates, bedliner, and various off-road equipment. However, we don’t know what will happen with the rear section and the tailgate.
Sporty Interior Design
Nismo package is known for its interior as well. The 2021 Nissan Titan Nismo will get new upholstery and various red accents, including the contrast stitching. The cabin will be more premium, and the Japanese automaker will deliver the latest version of the infotainment system. Nismo will also add new driver-assistance aids, besides features such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and wireless charging.
However, the cabin design and its layout won’t change. That means the center section will remain intact, including the displays. Titan Nismo pickup should arrive as a four-door model, and it won’t offer a Regular Cab variant.
Rumored Twin-Turbo V6 Specs
Here comes a tricky part. The 2021 Nissan Titan Nismo could arrive with a new engine. The regular Titan pickup is available with a larger 5.6-liter V8. However, the Nismo package will probably offer a smaller twin-turbo V6 powertrain. According to reliable sources, Nissan plans to offer this engine that is capable of producing 400 horsepower.
That should be more than enough to satisfy the customers and boost the sales of the slow-selling Titan pickup. Some speculations are also mentioning a diesel engine. This is unlikely to happen, in our opinion. Whatsoever, Titan XD will arrive without a diesel powerplant as well.
2021 Nissan Titan Nismo Price and Release Date
The approaching 2021 Nissan Titan Nismo is still not official. For that reason, the price is not available, and there’s no point at discussing the price at such an early point. The Japanese manufacturer will release more details closer to the release date. Titan Nismo will arrive at some point in 2021, according to various rumors. It will be interesting to see the famous Nismo package in the full-size pickup truck segment.
