The upcoming 2021 Jeep Gladiator Sport is a pickup truck that is closely related to the Wrangler SUV. Of course, Gladiator looks more rugged, and it comes with the bed. Moreover, it offers better towing capacity and hauling capabilities. On the other hand, Wrangler provides a better off-road ability. However, Gladiator Sport is something that will surely attract customers.
This model is fun to drive as Jeep offers various equipment, open-air driving, and much more. Generally, Sport is a low-grade trim level, far from models such as Rubicon and Mojave. However, its price is affordable, and we think the offer is fair. Here’s what you can expect from the arriving 2021 Gladiator Sport pickup truck.
Exterior Colors
The all-new 2021 Jeep Gladiator Sport offers a very beautiful palette of exterior paints. There are seven different colors in the offer, which is great. Everything starts with the Billet Silver Metallic color. Moreover, you can choose paints such as Black ClearCoat, Bright White Clearcoat, and Firecracker Red Clearcoat. We personally like the Hydro Blue color, but this is just our opinion. Lastly, Gladiator Sport offers Granite Crystal Metallic and Sting-Gray Clearcoat paints.

2021 Gladiator Sport Changes
While the arriving pickup truck will offer a couple of exciting changes, some things are still the same. For example, the new 2021 Jeep Gladiator Sport is available in only one body configuration. We hoped to see a two-door option for 2021, but that won’t happen. That means Gladiator remains a four-door pickup with five-foot steel bad. On the other hand, the diesel engine is finally available, and we’ll get to that later.
Gladiator is a body-on-frame pickup, just like its Wrangler SUV sibling. This pickup rides on a 137-inch long wheelbase, and it offers incredible practicality. That includes the removable windshield and roof panels. The interior will gain more updates, including new driver-assistance aids. On top of that, Jeep will work on a new infotainment system. A 7-inch touchscreen remains standard, so the changes are really minor.

Diesel is Coming
The upcoming 2021 Jeep Gladiator Sport is a relatively fresh model. For its first year, Jeep offered a single powertrain option, and it is a reliable 3.6-liter V6 gasoline. However, the biggest news for 2021 is the diesel powertrain that will be optional. Jeep opted for a 3.0-liter V6, which is not surprising. It is one of the best diesels in the markets right now. With a new engine, Gladiator will produce 260 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque.
An eight-speed automatic transmission is available too. In some variants, a manual gearbox will be offered. However, Gladiator Sport won’t have that option. As for the fuel economy, Gladiator Sport will get the same ratings as the Wrangler SUV. That means a new pickup truck will deliver 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.

2021 Jeep Gladiator Sport Price and Release Date
The price of the new 2021 Jeep Gladiator Sport starts at $36,000. However, the diesel engine will cost an additional $4,000. That is the same price as with the current version. Gladiator will go on sale later this year. Interestingly, it could get a fierce rival in 2021, the Ford Bronco Pickup Truck.
