The all-new 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor has been spied a couple of days ago. We must say that spy shots surprised us because nobody expected the Tremor package on the Ranger pickup truck. Moreover, Ranger already offers a Raptor variant. While the body doesn’t look too different, heavy camouflage is hiding most of the design.
Besides exterior changes, Ranger Tremor will add a couple of mechanical upgrades as well. Wheels are different as well, and we are hoping to see a couple of exciting updates inside the cabin. Performance-wise, things should remain intact. A new mid-size pickup truck will go on sale by the end of 2020.

2021 Ranger Tremor Spy Photos
New spy shots of the 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor are not showing so many surprises. The truck’s shape and dimensions are exactly the same. We are sure that Ford worked on visual upgrades, but heavy camouflage perfectly hides most of the exterior design. The front fascia is completely camouflaged, however, the cab is almost completely exposed. However, it seems like the body panels are unchanged, so we are not sure what Ford is hiding.
Like the Tremor package on the Super Duty lineup, Ranger Tremor will also get a suspension lift. All-terrain tires are also new, along with the metal running boards. New wheels are looking very good, and additional exterior equipment should be in the offer too. Generally, the Tremor package should deliver better off-road capability, and it will provide a sportier look. Again, the Raptor variant does the same thing, so Tremor treatment on Ranger pickup really surprised us.

Engine Specs
The next-generation Ranger is under development. For that reason, we don’t expect major changes under the hood. The 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor will run on a 2.3-liter DOHC engine. The turbocharged unit is producing 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Ford’s relatively new 10-speed automatic transmission is also available. All-wheel-drive setup will be optional, while Ranger remains a rear-wheel-drive truck in its base variant. Tremor package will add new suspension, Dana limited-slip front differential, and new shift-on-the-fly locking rear differential.
Moreover, rock crawling mode is available, but only in the AWD version. Rumors are writing about a plug-in hybrid variant as well. It will reportedly use a 2.3-liter engine in combination with an electric motor and battery pack. Total output will be rated at 362 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. If that truly happens, the Tremor package could be paired with the hybrid version. As for the next-gen Ranger, a 2.0-liter twin-turbo and a 3.0-liter, twin-turbo V6 will become available.

2021 Ford Ranger Tremor Release Date and Price
The price of the new Ranger will start at $28,000. As for the 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor, this off-road variant will become available for $30,000. Interestingly, Tremor treatment is affordable. It costs only $2,000, but it adds a lot of sporty styling cues and various mechanical upgrades. Ford didn’t announce it yet, but the Tremor package should be available across the whole trim level lineup. Ranger truck will go on sale this fall, and that includes the Raptor variant as well.
