The forthcoming 2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty is about to arrive. This model will go on sale in the second half of the year and it will gain various upgrades. Moreover, a complete Super Duty lineup will benefit from the same changes. Some of the upgrades are significant. On top of that, the new Tremor package should become a strong option in the markets.
In terms of performance, nothing will change. We can only hope for minor improvements but engine lineup is intact for 2021. The F-250 truck could also get its first hybrid version but those claims are far from official.

2021 F-250 Super Duty Exterior Refreshments
So far, nothing is official. However, recent spy shots are the proof we needed. Thanks to that, we know the 2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty will suffer a couple of exterior refinements. The prototype has been spied with a new badge that now features a different shape. Interestingly, RAM did a similar thing last year. F-250 truck will also gain larger grille for improved engine cooling.
Ford will install more aluminum in order to reduce the truck’s weight. This should result in slightly better fuel efficiency. Still, the hard-strength steel frame is intact, including the platform. The rear part will get revised taillights and the side profile should carry over.

Interior Details
On the inside, this heavy-duty truck will introduce plenty of updates. Blue Oval manufacturer needs to improve its interior just like the Chevrolet did with its truck lineup. For that reason, the 2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty will be improved more than everyone has expected. The base trim level now comes with more standard equipment, which is great. Moreover, the Blue Oval will offer a larger touchscreen.
The SYNC3 infotainment system is up to date and customers will surely like new driver-assistance aids. However, all of the new amenities are optional on the base trim level. Seating layout will remain for sure, but cabin design could also suffer a couple of upgrades. Still, the spy shots failed to provide any of the interior details.

Engine Specifications
Under the bonnet, nothing will change. The upcoming 2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty will offer the same engine lineup as before. That includes a 6.2-liter V8, a standard unit that generates 385 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. New 7.3-liter V8 gasoline is optional. Ford said it will be the class-leading gasoline powertrain in terms of performance. This engine provides 430 horses and 475 lb-ft of torque.
However, the most popular engine remains a 6.7-liter V8 turbodiesel with the best-in-class towing capacity. This engine can produce 475 horsepower and up to 1050 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, an F-250 truck can tow up to 37,000 lbs. Lastly, Blue Oval will also offer its relatively new 10-speed automatic transmission.
2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty Price and Release Date
The price of the arriving heavy-duty truck will start at $36,000. The forthcoming 2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty will also introduce a new Tremor off-road package that costs $2,000 over the regular price. The sales will start later in the year, most likely this fall.
