The estimated starting price for the base Silverado 1500 will be around $28,000. However, keep in mind that the fully loaded, range-topping version could pass the $70,000 mark.
Chevy Silverado 1500 Gets a Facelift
The exterior of the forthcoming 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 is enhanced with a complete of new and improved elements. We can see that the automaker offers a facelifted truck, with a sportier appearance. Furthermore, the 2021MY comes with generous amounts of chrome on the front side of the vehicle. The lower trim levels will have a ‘Chevrolet’ nameplate imprinted in the center bar, while the upper trims replace this with the famous bow-tie badge in the center of the grille.

2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Engines

Besides the standard 4.3-liter V6 unit and a 2.7-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine, 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 offers five more drivetrains. The first unit produces 285 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque. Tha later mill generates 310 hp and 348 lb-ft of torque. Furthermore, the WT, Custom, and Custom Trail Boss models will use a 5.3-liter V8 mill, which makes 355 hp. This engine comes with a brand new Active Fuel Management function and 6-speed automatic transmission.
Next, for the LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country versions, the engine is the same 5.3-liter V8, but the standard gearbox will be a 10-speed automatic. The optional unit for these trim levels is a 3.0-liter turbo diesel inline-6, with 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. The last available engine is a 6.2-liter V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management and 10-speed automatic transmission. The peak output for this version is 420 hp.
