The upcoming 2021 Chevrolet S10 is in the works. We’ve seen an official teaser image, so this model is finally official. The sales will start in the coming months, and S10 will be launched in South America. The development is in the final stages, but its price is still a mystery. Anyway, S10 will arrive with a stylish look and modern interior design. The front part will look brand-new, but this isn’t the only good thing.
The interior will offer various high-tech features and more than a solid level of comfort. The performances are another mystery. Most likely, S10 pickup will borrow engine options from the Colorado model. After Brazil, the new Chevy S10 will be launched in Argentina as well.
2021 S10 Looks Modern and Upright
Styling of the new 2021 Chevrolet S10 looks very modern and upright. A new teaser image shows a refreshed pickup truck with plenty of novelties. The S10 version will get a revised front end. The highlight is the grille that is completely new. Moreover, the grille looks almost the same as the grille on the new Colorado pickup truck. It looks very prominent, and it sports a horizontal bar that is connecting the headlights.
As with any other model, large CHEVROLET lettering is visible at first glance. The lettering has been finished in dark accents, and it looks sporty. The golden Bowtie logo looks small, and it sits in the bottom of the front grille. Some reliable sources are saying that every trim level will look different. That means the customers will have a wide choice. However, Chevy didn’t release details about rear fascia or the side profile.
Interior Refreshments
The interior will gain a couple of important updates. The 2021 Chevrolet S10 will look modern, and it will provide the right level of comfort. Still, not all of the details are available. For example, we can’t say that we know everything about cabin design. However, Chevrolet will work on modernizing the cabin and delivering a longer list of standard equipment.
Most of the interior cues will be the same as in the Colorado model. Whatsoever, the spied prototype is showing exactly that. Spy shots have been made a couple of weeks ago, and we had an opportunity to see a pickup with the right-hand drive. That also suggests the S10 pickup truck will go on sale in Australia at some point in 2021.
S10 Will Borrow Engine From the Colorado Pickup
As for the engine options, new 2021 Chevrolet S10 will borrow a couple of powertrains from the Chevy Colorado. This pickup truck offers three engine choices. However, the S10 pickup won’t borrow all three variants. Instead, S10 will most likely skip a four-cylinder gasoline engine. On the other hand, the diesel engine will be in the offer.
The most likely outcome is a 3.6-liter V6 gasoline with 310 horsepower. The last possibility is the Chevrolet’s newest 2.7-liter turbo engine that will deliver up to 350 lb-ft of torque. A ten-speed automatic transmission will be offered as well.
2021 Chevrolet S10 Release Date and Price
The price of the all-new 2021 Chevrolet S10 is not available yet. The arriving pickup truck will be firstly launched in Brazil. After that, the sales will begin in Argentina and even Australia. We are still waiting for Chevy to release pricing details.
